Business Development Representative

Since 1990, White Paper Co. has been growing consistently in the office consumables industry with driven Business Development Representatives as the keystone of our company. We’ve been recognized for Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies Award and have continued to strive to become a leader in our field. As a result, we’ve expanded our product offering to include copy paper, office supplies, commercial printing and promotional products and have expanded our offices to include locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

 

About the Position

 

We’re looking for a driven individual who has chosen sales as a career and is passionate about it. The successful candidate will be expected to primarily be a hunter. Your success will be measured by how well you can prospect and open profitable “A-B” level accounts. We are looking for someone with a nose to the grindstone attitude, able to multi-task, and who wants the ability to get paid for their successes.

 

 

Responsibilities

-          Source and develop new accounts

-          Identify new leads and manage lead follow-up

-          Manage relationships with existing customers

-          Effectively penetrate accounts with all our product offerings

-          Communicate effectively with senior management

 

Qualifications

-          Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to participate effectively in a fast paced team environment

-          Excellent influencing skills and the ability to interact effectively

-          Customer service focused and interested in delivering results in a proactive manner

-          Previous experience in sales. Experience in the office consumables industry is an asset but not required.

-          You must be personable, hard working, and truly care about your customers.
